These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RedactProof ("the Service"), a document redaction platform operated by Popsall Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 16306252).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Service Description

RedactProof provides browser-based document redaction software. Key features include:

• Client-side processing: Documents are processed entirely within your browser. Your files never leave your device.
• AI-powered detection: Machine learning identifies potentially sensitive information (PII).
• Verification certificates: Cryptographic certificates verify the integrity of redactions.
• Audit trails: Export history and verification logs (Pro and Team tiers).

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Available Plans

We offer the following subscription tiers:

• Lite: £19/month or £190/year - 10 documents per month, AI detection, verification
• Pro: £79/month or £790/year - Unlimited documents, full audit trail
• Team: £249/month or £2,490/year - 5 seats, team management

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Payment is processed via Stripe. All prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Your Right to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

5.2 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

New subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of their initial subscription purchase. Email support@redactproof.com to request a refund.

5.3 Statutory Rights

Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases. By checking the "immediate access" box at checkout, you acknowledge that you request immediate access to the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe intellectual property rights of others
• Process documents you do not have authority to handle
• Attempt to circumvent security measures
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

7. Data Processing and Privacy

Client-side processing: Your documents are processed entirely within your browser. We do not upload, store, or have access to your document content.

8. Intellectual Property

Our content: The Service, including its design and features, is owned by Popsall Ltd.

Your content: You retain all rights to documents you process.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that AI detection will identify all sensitive information. You are responsible for reviewing redactions before sharing documents.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Popsall Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or damages exceeding the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

Consumer rights: If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
